French Day - 09/03/2020< Back to the news
On Tuesday 3rd March Marshlands held a France Day. During the day we were able to explore the differing cultures, food and learn some of the French language. A highlight of the day for some classes was the French food tasting, the croissants were a firm favourite! Offering a different choice of food on a special day like this is a brilliant way to encourage children who are quite rigid with their food choices to be more experimental. Some classes who are learning French weekly had the opportunity to explore more about the city and to practise their French skills with pupils outside of the classroom. Every class were exposed to the French language and the sound of ‘bonjour’ could be heard throughout the school!
