Inter-house football competition
3 May 2023We held an inter-house football competition following a suggestion from our student council.
Tuesday 28th March saw Key Stage 2 classes Butterflies, Ladybirds, Elm, Ash, Fir and Oak compete in an inter-house football tournament. There were penalties without a goalkeeper, penalties with a goalkeeper and then finished off with a race to the ball to score a goal. Everyone showed great sportsmanship and enjoyed themselves! There were some great goals scored by all teams.
Wednesday 29th March saw Owls, Ducks, Kingfishers, Wagtails, Herons, Tadpoles, Grasshoppers and Hedgehogs compete in a football competition where the children had to use their football skills to score points.
The winning house was Speedwell!
This occasion provided a fantastic opportunity for all our pupils to showcase what fantastic football skills are present within our school! We had a wonderful competition and our staff team were delighted at the sportsmanship demonstrated between all of our pupils. We are very proud of our pupils.
