Ash

Welcome to Ash Class!  Mrs Read is our teacher and Mrs Wheeler and Mrs Timmins also help us with our learning.  We are a Year 5 and 6 class based at our Marshlands Meadow site. 

This term, our topics are Dinosaurs before half-term and then Chocolate before Christmas.  We have been exploring which dinosaurs were carnivores, omnivores and herbivores and we have had fun making up stories about dinosaur characters.

In Science, we have been learning all about fossils and how we can learn about dinosaurs by studying fossils from millions of years ago.  In Art and Design, we have created moving dinosaur pictures using pivots, levers and sliders. 

We have enjoyed celebrating Harvest Festival, singing the Harvest Samba song and making autumn crafts and hedgehog cupcakes!
