World Cup/Football Day – Friday 26th June

On Friday 26th June, Marshlands School celebrated a World Cup/Football Day. Children came to school wearing football kits or the colours of different countries.

Each class focused on learning about a country taking part in the World Cup. Throughout the day, pupils enjoyed a range of activities linked to their country, including sensory tuff trays, Attention Autism sessions, exploring traditional foods and listening to music from around the world.

It was a fun and engaging day, with lots of opportunities for pupils to learn about different cultures while enjoying football-themed activities. Everyone had a great time taking part
